Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- have prior experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields
- demonstrate reliability and dependability
- show outgoing and friendly behavior
- be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- possess good communication skills
- be capable of answering phones and taking special orders
- be able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs
- able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- operate kitchen equipment safely
- adhere to health, safety, and weights and measures regulations
- hold and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- work in varying temperature environments including cooler and freezer
- perform related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- have good communication skills and ability to take direction
- be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- be able to answer phones and take special orders
- be able to lift/carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
- be able to stand for extended periods
- be able to operate slicer and cooking equipment
- maintain a Food Handlers permit
- be able to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Duties
- prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- assist customers with catering orders
- maintain food safety standards and department cleanliness
- operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- take special orders over the phone
- assist in equipment maintenance and safe operation
