Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Show an outgoing, friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Be able to answer phones and take special orders
- Must be able to lift or carry products weighing up to 70 pounds
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift with up to 4 hours continuously
- Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work area
- Operate slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment
- Assist in maintaining equipment in safe working condition
- Be able to work in different temperature environments including cooler and freezer
- Other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field

- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure that deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness of the deli department area
- Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays
- Prepare special orders and party trays
- Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment following company standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment including cleaning shelves and products, keeping floors free of spills, removing hazardous debris from floor, and sweeping
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
