Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
- be dependable and reliable
- have an outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- have good communication skills
- be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- able to answer phones and take special orders
- must be able to lift/carry product weighing up to 70 lbs
- must be able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously for a total of 8 hours per shift
- perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work area
- operate slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment
- assist in equipment maintenance
- adhere to safety, health and Weights and Measures regulations
- achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- be able to work in cooler and freezer temperature environments

- have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- have experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field

Job Duties
- prepare fresh and easy meals for customers
- arrange vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches
- assist customers with catering orders
- maintain high food safety standards and cleanliness
- operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- maintain and clean equipment in safe working condition
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the deli department
- answer phones and take special orders
- work in different temperature environments such as cooler and freezer
- adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
