Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move frequently on hard surfaces including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Capable of lifting heavier or awkward objects over 30 pounds with assistance
- Comfortable working in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred
- Knowledge of deli products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Slice, package, and weigh various deli products including meats and cheeses
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the deli department and display cases
- Provide excellent customer service and assist members with special orders and product selection
- Receive and inspect deli shipments ensuring product freshness and quality
- Operate deli equipment safely and in compliance with food safety standards
- Stock, rotate, and store deli items according to company policies
- Clean and sanitize deli equipment and surfaces regularly
