Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Must be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs, and stand for up to 4 hours continuously
- Ability to operate deli slicer and other equipment
- Adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- Maintain Food Handler's permit
- Ability to work in cooler and freezer environments
- Perform general housekeeping in deli area
- Able to take special orders and answer phones
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age

- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field

- Ability to operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- Adhere to all safety, health, and food handling regulations including maintaining a Food Handler's permit
- Ability to work in different temperature environments (cooler and freezer)
Job Duties
- Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented properly
- Maintain cleanliness of deli department area
- Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays
- Prepare special orders and party trays
- Operate deli equipment such as meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, and cutting tools
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary deli area including cleaning shelves, floors, and workspaces
