Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field
- Be dependable and reliable
- Show outgoing, friendly, positive attitude
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds
- Able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously
- Perform general housekeeping duties
- Operate deli equipment
- Adhere to safety and health regulations
- Achieve and maintain Food Handlers permit
- Work in cooler and freezer environments

- Ability to operate slicers, wrapping and cooking equipment

- Ability to work in different temperature environments
- Perform general housekeeping in the department
Job Duties
- Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- Provide high level of customer service
- Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness of the deli department area
- Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays
- Prepare special orders and party trays
- Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment following company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy, temperature, and quality
