Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable
- have outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- have good communication skills
- be able to answer phones and take special orders
- be able to lift and carry products up to 70 pounds
- be able to stand continuously for up to 4 hours and a total of 8 hours per shift
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties
- operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- be able to work in cooler and freezer temperature environments
- accept other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- provide a high level of customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- maintain cleanliness and safety of the deli department area
- fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays
- prepare special orders and party trays
- operate deli equipment including meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, and scales following company standards
- maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy, temperature, and quality
