Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age or older
- Hornbacher's locations require candidates to be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to handle physical tasks including standing and lifting
- Willingness to comply with all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Availability to work part-time hours including weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to work
- Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience a plus
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for guests
- Prepare and dish up salads
- Serve food to guests through the hot case as applicable
- Ensure deli case and product areas are stocked and visually appealing
- Prepare meat, cheese, and veggie trays for merchandising and sale
- Follow food safety, health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Assist with dishwashing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders, baking, and frying products as needed
