Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have relevant experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields
- be dependable and reliable
- have an outgoing, friendly demeanor along with a positive attitude
- possess good communication skills
- able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs without assistance
- able to stand continuously for up to 4 hours, total of 8 hours per shift
- perform cleaning and sanitation duties
- operate deli equipment safely
- comply with all health and safety regulations
- able to work in cooler and freezer environments
Job Qualifications

- operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- able to work in different temperature environments
Job Duties
- Assisting customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- filling, maintaining, and rotating products and displays
- preparing special orders and party trays
- operating meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment
- maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment
- receiving, inspecting, and logging products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
