Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Ability to interact with customers
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Physical ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 70 lbs
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours continuously for a total of 8 hours per shift
- Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- Operate slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment and maintain equipment in safe working condition
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- Ability to work in different temperature environments such as cooler and freezer
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable

Job Duties
- Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness of the deli department area
- Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays
- Prepare special orders and party trays
- Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment according to company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
