Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have experience working in grocery, restaurant, or related field or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Have outgoing, friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Possess good communication skills
- Able to take direction and participate in team environment
- Able to answer phones and take special orders
- Must be able to lift and carry product weighing up to 70 lbs for distances up to 20 feet without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to stand continuously for up to 4 hours, for a total of 8 hours per shift
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation of work area
- Operate slicer, wrapping, and cooking equipment
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Achieve and maintain Food Handlers permit
- Able to work in cooler and freezer temperature environments
- Willing to perform other related duties as assigned

Job Duties
- Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals
- Provide a high level of customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain cleanliness of the deli department area
- Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays
- Prepare special orders and party trays
- Operate meat and cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment following company standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
