Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in grocery or food service
  • Previous shift lead or management experience
  • Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Open availability including weekends and closing shifts
  • Valid Food Safety Management Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years grocery or 2+ years food service experience
  • Previous shift lead or management experience mandatory
  • Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift

  • Open availability with ability to work some weekends and closing shifts

Job Duties

  • Assist deli/bakery manager in leading and managing 5-10 employees
  • Maintain high levels of customer service while meeting commissary requirements and maximizing profits
  • Oversee and enforce food safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Manage inventories by tracking weekly reports and ordering supplies
  • Assist in scheduling, training employees, and delegating work assignments
  • Prepare, maintain, and track records concerning inventories and work processes to calculate monthly profit
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment to ensure health and safety requirements are met
