Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- Willingness to cross-train in both deli and bakery tasks
- Ability to follow written guidelines and basic math
- Effective communication skills
- Tolerates working in freezer environments for short periods
- Availability for weekend shifts
- Team-oriented mindset
Job Qualifications

- Effective and friendly communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines

- Tolerant of working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- Team player
- Grocery, food service, or retail experience a plus
- Some weekend shifts required
Job Duties
- Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and teamwork with positive communication
- Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer’s request
- Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly
- Stock and organize displays including assisting with shipments
- Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation
- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
- Perform additional duties such as cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed
