Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- willing to work both Saturday and Sundays
- available to work mid to closing shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- able to stand and walk short distances for entire shift
- able to tolerate working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- able to communicate effectively

- willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
- effective and friendly communication skills
- knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- team player
- grocery, food service or retail experience a plus
- willing to work some weekend shifts
Job Duties
- maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service
- teamwork with positive communication
- assists other team members as needed
- slices deli meats and cheeses to customer's request
- prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly
- stocks and organizes displays, including helping with shipments as needed
- ensures proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation
- demonstrates ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
- performs other duties including cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed
