Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
- Effective and friendly communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- Tolerate working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- Team player
- Grocery, food service or retail experience a plus
- Some weekend shifts are required

Job Duties
- Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and teamwork with positive communication
- Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer requests
- Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly
- Stock and organize displays including helping with shipments as needed
- Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling and preparation
- Demonstrate ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle stressful situations
- Perform other tasks such as cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli and bakery duties as needed
