Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks
- effective and friendly communication skills
- knowledge of basic math skills
- ability to follow written guidelines
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- ability to stand and walk short distances for entire shift
- tolerate working in freezer environments for up to 20 minutes at a time
- team player
- some weekend shifts required
- grocery, food service or retail experience preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain enthusiastic customer service and teamwork with positive communication
- slice deli meats and cheeses according to customer requests
- prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches
- stock and organize displays and assist with shipments
- ensure department and equipment sanitation and follow proper food handling and preparation
- work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations
- perform additional deli and bakery tasks such as cake decorating, baking, or rotisserie chicken preparation as needed
