Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Willingness to work weekends
- Availability for up to 29 hours per week
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to tolerate working in cold environments such as freezers
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team environment
- Willingness to cross-train in both deli and bakery tasks
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
- Effective and friendly communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- Tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- Team player
- Grocery, food service or retail experience is a plus
- Some weekend shifts are required
Job Duties
- Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and teamwork with positive communication
- Slice deli meats and cheeses to customers' requests
- Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly
- Stock and organize displays and assist with shipments as needed
- Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling and preparation
- Demonstrate the ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle stressful situations
- Perform other duties including cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli and bakery tasks as needed
