Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- willingness to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks
- effective communication skills
- ability to work some weekend shifts
- knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines
- ability to tolerate working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- team player

Job Duties
- Maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service with teamwork and positive communication
- slices deli meats and cheeses to customer’s request
- prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly
- stocks and organizes displays including helping with shipments as needed
- ensures proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling and preparation
- demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
- performs other duties such as cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli and bakery tasks as required
