Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- willingness to work some weekend shifts
- willingness to cross-train in multiple deli and bakery tasks
- effective communication skills
- ability to follow written instructions
- ability to work in fast-paced and sometimes stressful environments
- tolerance for working in cold/freezer environments
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
- effective and friendly communication skills
- knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
- tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
- team player
- grocery, food service or retail experience a plus
- some weekend shifts are required
Job Duties
- Maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service
- teamwork with positive communication
- assist other team members as needed
- slices deli meats and cheeses to customer's request
- prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly
- stock and organize displays, including helping with shipments as needed
- ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation
- demonstrates the ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
- other duties may include cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed
