Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- willingness to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks
- effective and friendly communication skills
- knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- ability to stand and walk short distances for entire shift
- tolerance for working in freezer environments
- team player attitude
- availability to work some weekends
- prior experience in grocery, food service or retail preferred

Job Duties
- Maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service
- teamwork with positive communication
- assists other team members as needed
- slices deli meats and cheeses to customer's request
- prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly
- stocks and organizes displays, including helping with shipments
- ensures proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling and preparation
- demonstrates ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
- performs other tasks such as cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation as needed
