Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift
Tolerate working in freezers for up to 20 minutes at a time
Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks as needed
Effective and friendly communication skills
Knowledge of basic math and the ability to follow written guidelines
Team player
Willing to work some weekend shifts

Job Duties

Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and teamwork with positive communication
Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer’s request
Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly
Stock and organize displays, including helping with shipments as needed
Ensure proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and proper food handling/preparation
Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
Perform other duties such as cake decorating, baking, rotisserie chicken preparation, or other deli/bakery tasks as needed
