Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Ability to stand and walk short distances for entire shifts
Willingness to work weekends
Ability to tolerate working in freezers for up to 20 minutes
Effective communication skills
Basic math skills

Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks
Effective and friendly communication skills
Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines

Grocery, food service, or retail experience is a plus

Job Duties

Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and teamwork with positive communication
Slice deli meats and cheeses to customer requests
Prepare custom party trays and make sandwiches accordingly
Stock and organize displays including assisting with shipments
Ensure proper sanitation of department, equipment, and food handling and preparation
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
Perform additional deli and bakery tasks such as cake decorating, baking, and rotisserie chicken preparation as needed
