Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks
- effective and friendly communication skills
- knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
- ability to stand and walk short distances for entire shift
- tolerates working in freezers for up to 20 minutes
- team player
- grocery, food service or retail experience is a plus
- able to work some weekend shifts

Job Duties
- maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service with positive communication and teamwork
- slices deli meats and cheeses to customer's request
- prepares custom party trays and makes sandwiches accordingly
- stocks and organizes displays including assisting with shipments
- ensures proper sanitation of the department, equipment, and food handling
- works effectively in fast-paced and stressful environments
- performs other deli and bakery tasks such as cake decorating, baking, or rotisserie chicken preparation as needed
