Job Duties
- Assist customers with their orders for a variety of deli, bakery and hot food services
- talk to others to convey information effectively
- give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made
- use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
- monitor and assess performance of yourself and others to make improvements
- understand the implications of new information for problem-solving and decision-making
- perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking, frying, such as preparing cold foods and slicing meat and cheese
- merchandise displays to capture customer interest
- work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits
- stock product and product displays according to merchandising standards
- ensure quality service and products follow safety and sanitation protocols
- provide product suggestions, samples and assist customers with special orders

- clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
