Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and with assistance for heavier or awkward items
- Capability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces
- Willingness to work in temperature extremes including freezers and ovens
- Ability to maintain a consistent, predictable attendance record
- Commitment to following food safety and sanitation policies
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- Prior experience operating manual and power slicers and scales preferred
- Knowledge of deli products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Slice and package deli products including meats and cheeses
- Weigh deli items accurately and price them accordingly
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the deli area and equipment
- Assist members by answering questions, taking special orders, and providing recommendations
- Receive and inspect deli shipments ensuring freshness and quality
- Stock and rotate deli products following food safety policies
- Operate deli equipment following safety protocols
- Perform additional duties as assigned including supporting other departments
- Ensure compliance with club policies and procedures
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude towards members and team
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards consistently
