Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • ability to slice, package, and weigh deli products accurately
  • ability to operate deli equipment safely
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of deli department
  • capability to provide excellent customer service
  • ability to follow food safety and handling protocols
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • regular and predictable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Work experience in a deli department preferred
  • prior experience operating manual and power slicers and scales preferred
  • knowledge of deli products preferred
  • at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses
  • maintain cleanliness and presentation of deli and deli display cases
  • assist members in the deli department with questions, orders, and product recommendations
  • receive and inspect deli shipments
  • stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety and freshness policies
  • operate deli equipment safely and according to procedures
  • clean and sanitize deli equipment and food surfaces regularly
  • ensure scale systems are accurate and items are priced correctly
  • maintain compliance with all club policies and food safety standards
  • perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
  • maintain regular and predictable full attendance
