- At least 18 years of age
- ability to slice, package, and weigh deli products accurately
- ability to operate deli equipment safely
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of deli department
- capability to provide excellent customer service
- ability to follow food safety and handling protocols
- ability to work as part of a team
- regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Work experience in a deli department preferred
- prior experience operating manual and power slicers and scales preferred
- knowledge of deli products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses
- maintain cleanliness and presentation of deli and deli display cases
- assist members in the deli department with questions, orders, and product recommendations
- receive and inspect deli shipments
- stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety and freshness policies
- operate deli equipment safely and according to procedures
- clean and sanitize deli equipment and food surfaces regularly
- ensure scale systems are accurate and items are priced correctly
- maintain compliance with all club policies and food safety standards
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain regular and predictable full attendance
