Job Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods indoors and outdoors
able to push, pull, reach with arms, and grasp with hands
capable of working at elevated heights
able to bend, stretch, squat, kneel, crawl, and crouch in confined spaces
tolerate exposure to outdoor elements and moderate to high noise levels
able to hear and respond to spoken voices and audible alarms
specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

18 years of age or older
eligible to work in the United States
valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically
proficiency in using electronic devices such as tablets, computers, and mobile devices
ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients both in-person and electronically
pass a background check and drug screen
eligibility to acquire required credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal, as applicable)
flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Apply deicing fluid Type I and Type IV to aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail
safely drive large vehicles around aircraft during deicing operations
accurately record deicing fluid transactions for account purposes
operate headset and radio to communicate with the dispatcher
perform daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles
comply with all safety standards and procedures
exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
perform additional duties as assigned by management
