Job Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. insufficient without citizenship
  • Willingness to undergo company and government background investigation including criminal and credit checks
  • Ability to adhere to government and company information security policies and privacy regulations
  • Commitment to completing required information security and privacy training
  • Capacity to safeguard sensitive traveler information in compliance with applicable rules
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years travel consultant experience or equivalent in customer service
  • Proficiency in using GDS such as Sabre or Amadeus

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years experience as a travel consultant or five years in customer service industry
  • Advanced knowledge of global distribution systems such as Sabre or Amadeus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in team settings
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
  • Genuine passion for providing high-quality customer service
  • Previous military experience or certifications may be considered as substitutes

Job Duties

  • Create and complete travel arrangements including air, hotel, car, and rail bookings
  • Ensure reservations meet client standards and preferences
  • Provide informed and insightful recommendations to enhance traveler experience
  • Manage simple to complex bookings with multiple destinations, ticket exchanges, and complex fares
  • Resolve changes or issues occurring before or during travel
  • Perform both routine and non-routine assignments
  • Engage in continuous learning through comprehensive training and collaborative resources
