Job Requirements

U.S. citizenship required
Authorization to work in the U.S. insufficient without citizenship
Willingness to undergo company and government background investigation including criminal and credit checks
Ability to adhere to government and company information security policies and privacy regulations
Commitment to completing required information security and privacy training
Capacity to safeguard sensitive traveler information in compliance with applicable rules
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum three years travel consultant experience or equivalent in customer service
Proficiency in using GDS such as Sabre or Amadeus

Job Qualifications

Three or more years experience as a travel consultant or five years in customer service industry
Advanced knowledge of global distribution systems such as Sabre or Amadeus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in team settings
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
Genuine passion for providing high-quality customer service
Previous military experience or certifications may be considered as substitutes

Job Duties

Create and complete travel arrangements including air, hotel, car, and rail bookings
Ensure reservations meet client standards and preferences
Provide informed and insightful recommendations to enhance traveler experience
Manage simple to complex bookings with multiple destinations, ticket exchanges, and complex fares
Resolve changes or issues occurring before or during travel
Perform both routine and non-routine assignments
Engage in continuous learning through comprehensive training and collaborative resources
