Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in baking or related food production
- Food safety certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long durations
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal forms
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Willingness to comply with safety protocols including use of PPE and uniform guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Experience in baking or a related role is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and sanitation regulations
- Food safety certification is compulsory
- Competency in basic arithmetic and numerical calculations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage physical duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing
- Ability to adhere to uniform guidelines and utilize personal protective equipment
Job Duties
- Create a selection of baked treats by adhering to production standards and following prescribed recipes
- Arrange work surface with all essential supplies and ingredients for baking
- Quantify, weigh, blend, chop, and prepare components as required
- Operate baking tools such as ovens, stoves, and mixers
- Use utensils safely and effectively during meal preparation
- Comply with guidelines for safe storage of food products
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- Maintain high levels of customer service and project a positive attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues
- Follow Aramark's safety policies including proper food handling and hygiene
- Uphold safety of organizational assets by complying with security guidelines
