Job Requirements
- Experience in cafeteria or large-scale food service management
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work the specified hours during the December break
- Ability to comply with HACCP standards
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
- Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification
Job Qualifications
- Large batch cooking experience a plus
- Good computer skills
- Ability to accurately balance daily cash sales
- Knowledge of state nutrition guidelines
- Ability to manage and train staff
- Ability to pass ServSafe food safety program within 90 days
Job Duties
- Prepare all scheduled monthly menu selections with minimal assistance
- Ensure all HACCP (health and safety) requirements are being followed on a daily basis
- Prepare weekly food and supply orders
- Assist in the verification of all product received into the unit
- Uphold all parts of the collective bargaining contract
- Manage employees and direct training of other staff members to ensure they follow all state nutrition guidelines set forth by the DESE
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports
