Job Requirements

  • ability to stand or walk for the duration of scheduled shifts
  • ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 60 lbs
  • ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed products without allergic consequences
  • ability to work in varying temperatures
  • ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents
  • ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items
  • ability to comply with all time and attendance policies
  • ability to work all assigned schedules
  • ability to work cooperatively with others

Job Qualifications

  • ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English

Job Duties

  • perform all duties in accordance with company policies and all local, state, and federal laws
  • maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment
  • greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service
  • assist with onboarding and training new associates
  • ensure unit price labels are maintained and current
  • monitor storage area cleanliness and preparation
  • ensure all merchandise is fully stocked and rotated
  • ensure featured sale merchandise is properly signed
  • verify accuracy of invoices and reports
  • ensure quality and proper storage of products
  • maintain proper staffing and complete department training programs
  • perform duties in accordance with labor regulations
  • assist in preparation of food products and special orders
  • communicate and enforce policies and procedures
