Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Ability to perform basic computer functions
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 60 lbs
- Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties
- Ability to climb a ladder to retrieve items from overhead racking and storage areas
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies
- Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals
Job Qualifications

- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within retail or food service preferred
- Ability to effectively train, develop, and engage associates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards
- Competence with basic computer functions and inventory management systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and build team enthusiasm
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Job Duties
- Perform all duties in accordance with Company policies, laws, and regulations including food safety and environmental procedures
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment meeting Department QA standards
- Supervise associates to ensure proper use of equipment, safety policies, and personal protective equipment
- Greet customers and provide prompt courteous service while promoting charitable programs
- Lead hiring, training, and performance feedback processes for department associates
- Ensure merchandise is fully stocked, correctly priced, rotated, and displayed according to company standards
- Utilize technology and applications to manage department operations and ensure inventory accuracy
- Maintain all required logs, production sheets, and department records
- Monitor departmental compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Assist in food preparation, catering, and special orders as needed
- Enforce department and company policies consistently
