Job Requirements

  • Experience with food and beverage operations
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies, and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in hospitality management
  • Passion for service and guest satisfaction

  • Interest in training and developing future food and beverage leaders
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operational procedures
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and deliver results
  • Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies, and equipment
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Experience with the specific brand hotel or upscale property is an added plus

Job Duties

  • Report to the restaurant general manager and support associates by directing daily operations and creating an excellent guest experience
  • Oversee and ensure the proper training of all food and beverage personnel following the White Lodging Way guidelines
  • Monitor communications, morale, and motivation of all food and beverage personnel
  • Ensure food, liquor, wine, and other beverage costs are in line with budget
  • Oversee food and beverage operations during meal periods, ensuring tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, serving, taking orders, delivering room service, and cleaning are performed in accordance with brand standards
  • Assist with or issue accurate weekly forecasts to enable the creation of effective plans and schedules that maximize guest satisfaction
  • Perform any other duties as required by the restaurant general manager
