  • high school diploma or equivalent (GED) desired
  • working knowledge of the automotive warehouse and/or store industry desired
  • familiarity with automotive parts desired
  • advanced computer skills desired
  • fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) desired

Job Duties

  • Unload merchandise from route trucks and place in designated staging areas
  • verify unloaded items by matching drivers manifest to merchandise
  • assist in wrapping, loading, and shipping outbound merchandise
  • verify store manifest and scan/inspect merchandise from store returns
  • separate return merchandise into appropriate staging areas and process exceptions
  • sort and stack rebuilt core and rebuilt warranty merchandise in designated areas
  • follow procedures for staging, cut-offs, auditing, and shipping preparation
  • sort and prepare new merchandise for shipment to proper zones
  • maintain and rebox new merchandise received
  • maintain inventory and order boxes used for specific lines
  • add reboxed parts to inventory following correct cut-off procedures
  • maintain and sort warranty merchandise into vendor bins
  • coordinate paperwork and product with vendor representatives for warranties
  • maintain vendor files and warranty schedules
  • move merchandise and paperwork to RGS clerk timely
  • dispose of hazardous materials according to company policy
  • process recall, changeover, and stocklift merchandise
  • process non-stock and unsaleable merchandise
  • maintain tag shelf where applicable
  • collaborate with sales on demo, used, and loaner equipment including credits, billing, and shipments
  • test warranty batteries and process paperwork
  • process new and rotation batteries, recondition as needed
  • perform monthly rotations on DC stock and complete battery reports
  • prepare paperwork for RGS merchandise and coordinate shipments
  • keep work areas neat and clean
  • maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices
  • train new team members and execute training programs as designated
  • perform all other assigned duties
