Job Requirements

  • ability to read and match numbers and letters quickly and accurately
  • strong mathematical skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent (GED) desired
  • previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred
  • fluency in multiple languages especially Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Locate and pull merchandise by matching item codes and numbers on the pick ticket against part number on the merchandise
  • place merchandise in tote or stage bulk items in the appropriate area
  • mark the tote by customer number and send down the conveyor when order is completed
  • ensure all totes are labeled correctly and do not exceed 60 lbs
  • maintain DC standards for accuracy and productivity when picking orders
  • consolidate and pack merchandise quickly and accurately so orders can be checked in efficiently
  • itemize products not shipped in totes on the freight bill and ensure all freight bills are dated and totaled correctly
  • operate handheld computers and voice picking equipment
  • check items off of the freight bill as they are loaded and ensure accuracy
  • load trucks quickly and securely tie freight
  • keep picking zones supplied and repair totes as needed
  • start printers and sort tickets and labels by zone
  • operate equipment for outbound functions
  • maintain a neat and clean workspace
  • serve as trainer for new team members when experienced
  • maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices
  • perform all other duties as assigned
