Job Duties
- Locate and pull merchandise by matching item codes and numbers on the pick ticket against part number on the merchandise
- place merchandise in tote or stage bulk items in the appropriate area
- ensure totes are labeled correctly and do not exceed weight limits
- maintain accuracy and productivity standards when picking orders
- consolidate and pack stock order merchandise quickly and accurately
- itemize products not shipped in totes on freight bills
- operate handheld computers or voice picking equipment
- check items off freight bills during loading
- load trucks quickly and securely
- keep picking zones supplied and repair totes as needed
- operate printers and sort tickets and labels
- maintain cleanliness and safety in work area
- conduct training programs for new team members if designated
- maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices
- perform all other duties as assigned
