Job Duties
- Locate and pull merchandise by matching item codes and numbers on pick tickets against merchandise
- place merchandise in totes or stage bulk items appropriately
- mark totes by customer number and send down conveyor upon order completion
- ensure totes are labeled correctly and do not exceed weight limits
- maintain accuracy and productivity standards when picking
- consolidate and pack stock merchandise quickly and accurately
- itemize all non-tote shipped products on freight bills upon receipt
- date and total all freight bills including hazardous materials daily
- operate handheld RF or voice picking equipment
- check items off freight bills during loading to confirm accuracy
- load trucks quickly and secure freight properly
- supply picking zones with totes and repair as needed
- start printers and sort tickets and labels by zone
- operate outbound equipment
- keep work area neat and dispose of trash properly
- provide training and support to team members as assigned
- maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices
- perform additional duties as assigned
