Job Requirements

  • previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
  • ability to meet physical demands of the job

  • fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired

Job Duties

  • Locate and pull merchandise by matching item codes and numbers on pick tickets against merchandise
  • place merchandise in totes or stage bulk items appropriately
  • mark totes by customer number and send down conveyor upon order completion
  • ensure totes are labeled correctly and do not exceed weight limits
  • maintain accuracy and productivity standards when picking
  • consolidate and pack stock merchandise quickly and accurately
  • itemize all non-tote shipped products on freight bills upon receipt
  • date and total all freight bills including hazardous materials daily
  • operate handheld RF or voice picking equipment
  • check items off freight bills during loading to confirm accuracy
  • load trucks quickly and secure freight properly
  • supply picking zones with totes and repair as needed
  • start printers and sort tickets and labels by zone
  • operate outbound equipment
  • keep work area neat and dispose of trash properly
  • provide training and support to team members as assigned
  • maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices
  • perform additional duties as assigned
