Job Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to read and match numbers and letters quickly and accurately
  • strong mathematical skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent (GED) desired
  • previous work experience in a similar warehouse environment
  • fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Job Duties

  • Locate and pull merchandise by matching item codes and numbers on the pick ticket against part number on the merchandise
  • place merchandise in tote or stage bulk items in the appropriate area
  • mark the tote by customer number and send down the conveyor when the order is complete
  • ensure all totes are labeled correctly and do not exceed 60 lbs
  • maintain accuracy and productivity standards when picking orders
  • consolidate and pack stock order merchandise quickly and accurately
  • itemize non-tote products on the freight bill and date with correct route
  • operate handheld computers and voice picking equipment
  • check items off freight bill during loading
  • load trucks quickly and accurately while securing freight
  • supply picking zones with totes and repair as needed
  • operate equipment for outbound functions
  • keep the work area neat and clean
  • act as a trainer for new team members if experienced
  • maintain safety standards while operating equipment
  • perform other duties as assigned
