Job Requirements

  • No formal education required
  • Ability to read and interpret cleaning and safety documents
  • Ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers and employees
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work part-time hours
  • Willingness to comply with safety guidelines and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as cleaning standards, operating instructions, and material safety data sheets
  • Effective communication skills with customers and employees
  • Ability to use proper grammar and pronunciation
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to follow technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
  • Previous experience in maintenance or cleaning is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Ensure that building and grounds are kept clean and sanitary according to established cleaning standards
  • Perform customer service to maintain comfort, cleanliness, and wellbeing of members or guests
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
  • Follow instructions and safety guidelines for cleaning chemicals
  • Maintain appearance of facility and grounds by identifying and addressing cleanliness issues
  • Assist in routine maintenance duties as assigned by director of facilities management
  • Comply with safety and health regulations while performing duties
