Job Requirements
- No formal education required
- Ability to read and interpret cleaning and safety documents
- Ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers and employees
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work part-time hours
- Willingness to comply with safety guidelines and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as cleaning standards, operating instructions, and material safety data sheets
- Effective communication skills with customers and employees
- Ability to use proper grammar and pronunciation
- Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to follow technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
- Previous experience in maintenance or cleaning is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Ensure that building and grounds are kept clean and sanitary according to established cleaning standards
- Perform customer service to maintain comfort, cleanliness, and wellbeing of members or guests
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
- Follow instructions and safety guidelines for cleaning chemicals
- Maintain appearance of facility and grounds by identifying and addressing cleanliness issues
- Assist in routine maintenance duties as assigned by director of facilities management
- Comply with safety and health regulations while performing duties
