Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk on city sidewalks
- must be able to go up and down stairs for cleaning purposes
- bending, stooping, crouching and lifting up to 30 pounds
- must be able to pass a criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in janitorial or building porter role preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- ability to follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Sanitizing common areas by wiping down furniture, chairs, and tables
- high and low dusting of window sills, bookshelves, and other furniture
- taking out trash and removing it from the campus
- cleaning group restrooms including sinks, toilets, glass, mirrors, and showers
- refilling supplies
- cleaning hallways via sweeping and dust mopping
- removing any cobwebs or debris from entryways
- all other duties will be assigned
