Job Duties
- demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
- follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service accordingly
- serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
- learn and have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
- check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
- communicate a cut-off to guests as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- contact management or security if a guest becomes confrontational belligerent or uses extreme profanity
- request additional or restock product as required
- handle cash accurately and be responsible for the issued bank at the bar
- maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- perform other duties such as setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of cooler as assigned
