  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service accordingly
  • serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • learn and have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
  • contact management or security if a guest becomes confrontational belligerent or uses extreme profanity
  • request additional or restock product as required
  • handle cash accurately and be responsible for the issued bank at the bar
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • perform other duties such as setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of cooler as assigned
