Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of caregiving experience
- Warm and compassionate mindset
- Reliable communication skills
- Ability to pass criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screening
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation
- Willingness to work flexible and overnight shifts
- Ability to follow safety and health protocols
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience caring for seniors or adults
- Warmth and compassion for clients
- Ability to communicate competently and perform assigned caregiving tasks effectively
- Successful completion of criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- No certification required, but pay commensurate with CNA, HHA, or DSP experience and certifications
- Ability to work flexible schedules including availability for two or more 12-hour shifts weekly
Job Duties
- Provide companionship including conversation, activities, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, and medication reminders
- Assist with personal care tasks such as meal preparation, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, exercises, and grooming
- Maintain detailed communication by charting and reporting any changes or concerns regarding clients’ conditions to the care team
- Support client independence and safety while delivering compassionate one-on-one care
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with mobility
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment
