Job Qualifications
- experience in custodial, housekeeping or pest control work directly related to the area of employment
- knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, equipment and safety practices used in large commercial or institutional facilities
- ability to perform manual tasks
- ability to organize cleaning activities
- ability to manage heavy equipment
- ability to work independently
- strong leadership skills
Job Duties
- maintain a high standard of cleanliness for assigned buildings and areas
- perform daily janitorial services
- perform inspections of the areas covered by the nightly janitorial contractors
- supervise temporary employees
- perform duties during or after severe weather and emergency situations
- manage special cleaning projects
- organize general cleaning activities
