Job Requirements

Day porter, janitor, or custodian experience preferred

Job Qualifications

Janitorial experience preferred
Outstanding communication skills
Punctual and dependable
Reliable transportation
Ability to work independently
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to meet physical requirements including walking, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, reaching over the shoulder, lifting, and carrying
Ability to lift and carry 1-35 lbs constantly and 36-50 lbs occasionally

Job Duties

Pick up trash as needed and empty trash receptacles
Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning cobwebs, wiping down surfaces, restroom cleaning
Clean exterior surfaces of windows, windowsills, and doors
Remove and/or clean up debris or soil such as stickers, chewing gum, coffee spills, graffiti
Continuously walk the property to inspect all public areas for cleanliness
Notify the supervisor in case there is a need for repairs
Always wear the appropriate safety equipment for the task including gloves, goggles, safety vest
