Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read two to three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
  • Knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and volume metrics such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
  • Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving own or company vehicle

Job Duties

  • Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
  • Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, polishing metal and wood, cleaning blinds and draperies
  • Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
  • Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets or rooms
  • Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures and stop at-risk behavior of self and others
  • Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
  • Take direction and respond to supervision
  • Use proper personal protective equipment
  • Present a professional appearance and conduct
  • Understand reporting systems and environmental conditions
  • Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and maintain order in common areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
  • Assist janitorial staff with cleaning tasks including restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, dusting, and restocking supplies
