Job Requirements

- Basic reading, writing and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste removal
- Willingness to use personal protective equipment
- Availability to work Monday-Friday 8am-12pm or 4pm-8pm
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing with 10's and 100's
- Familiarity with American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance and common measurements such as cups, pints, quarts, gallons
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle on business time with proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass and mirror cleaning, metal and wood polishing, cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash to proper disposal areas
- Light maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures including stopping at-risk behaviors
- Following all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
- Taking direction and responding to supervision
- Using proper personal protective equipment
- Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
- Understanding reporting systems and the environment
- Transporting small equipment, tools, chairs, tables, straightening areas such as lobbies and conference rooms
- Cleaning drop-in desktops, assisting janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms, damp mopping floors, restroom cleaning, glass cleaning, restocking and organizing supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas, cleaning elevators, spot cleaning upholstered furniture and carpets, and dusting open common spaces
