Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Experience in custodial, maintenance, or facilities support
- Dependable and punctual

- Basic knowledge of facility systems such as HVAC, plumbing preferred

Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and common areas throughout the day
- Refill supplies such as paper towels, soap, tissues, and sanitizer stations
- Remove trash and recycling from classrooms and offices as needed
- Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and urgent cleaning needs during the school day
- Ensure entryways and common areas are clean, welcoming, and free of hazards
- Perform light outdoor work as needed such as clearing snow/ice, sweeping, removing debris
- Secure facility by locking doors, windows, and setting alarms
- Monitor building security throughout shift
- Interact with and assist students, staff, visitors and groups during and after regular school hours
- Provide set up, tear down, and cleaning after activities
- Respond to requests, last-minute needs, unscheduled events, changes regarding building use
- Move and set up furniture and equipment as requested
- Deliver supplies throughout the building
- Set up and take down cafeteria equipment such as tables, chairs, trash bins
- Assist lunch aide with food preparation
- Clean and sanitize tables
- Assist with transitions and student safety during lunch
- Perform small-scale repairs such as tightening screws, replacing filters, adjusting door closers
- Monitor building systems and report any issues such as plumbing, HVAC, lighting to the Director of Operations
- Ensure that equipment rooms and utility areas are tidy, organized, and locked as appropriate
- Replenish facility supplies and monitor stock levels of custodial products
- Respond to Help Desk tickets related to cleanliness, repairs or light maintenance
- Assist with event setup and takedown such as tables, signage, equipment movement
- Support safety drills and facilities-related compliance tasks
