Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Valid driver’s license if driving own or company vehicle
- Proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Ability to read and comprehend basic written instructions
- Ability to perform basic math operations
- Must be dependable and hardworking
Job Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with tens and hundreds
- Understanding of American measurements such as money, weight, size, length, and volume
- Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving on business
- Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting
- Conduct surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, and polishing metal or wood
- Remove waste by emptying trash and recycling bins and transporting waste to proper disposal areas
- Perform light maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables and straighten common areas like lobbies and conference rooms
- Assist with restroom and break room upkeep including cleaning and restocking supplies
