Job Requirements
- high school diploma ged or equivalent
- some related experience in cleaning or maintenance
- ability to safely use cleaning tools and chemical cleaners
- basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and move throughout facility
- willingness to travel between properties in varying weather
- strong communication and team collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma ged trade technical or vocational school graduation
- some related cleaning experience
- basic mechanical knowledge preferred
- knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment
- ability to understand written and verbal instructions
- reliable and organized
- effective listener and team player
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends on call
- commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Job Duties
- daily interior cleaning including waste removal vacuuming carpet shampooing dusting furniture cleaning and restocking restrooms washing walls polishing and mopping floors placing mats in inclement weather cleaning spills and windows
- perform exterior cleaning and basic maintenance including walls windows parking lots walkways gardens outdoor furnishings pools fountains curbs gutters hallways and stairwells
- assist with minor maintenance and repairs such as painting replacing light bulbs and fixtures moving furniture repairing doors gates landscaping and simple plumbing repairs
- assist with gardening lawn care inventory control supply ordering snow removal and tenant moves if required
- notify management promptly of spills emergency situations major and minor repairs broken equipment safety concerns
- properly and safely use cleaning equipment tools and chemical agents including mops vacuums polishers power tools and special solutions
- follow safety protocols and carry out work orders as directed
