Job Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation
- Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers
- Know how to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
- Know the American measures of money, weight, size, length, shapes, distance, and common measures such as cups, pints, quarts, and gallons
- Required to have a valid driver’s license if driving own vehicle or company vehicle on business time, and have proof of vehicle registration and insurance
- Bilingual is a plus, not required

Job Duties
- Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting
- Surface care such as dusting, sanitizing, cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, polishing metal and wood, cleaning blinds and draperies
- Waste removal including emptying trash and recycle bins, transporting trash to disposal areas
- Light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, restocking supply cabinets or rooms
- Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Follow all company protocols, procedures, policies, and rules
- Take direction and respond to supervision
- Use proper personal protective equipment
- Present a professional appearance and conduct
- Understand reporting systems and the environment
- Transport small equipment, tools, chairs, and tables
- Straighten areas including lobbies and conference rooms
- Clean drop in desktops between events
- Assist janitorial staff with restocking restrooms and break rooms
- Damp mop floors and restroom cleaning
- Glass cleaning
- Restock and organize supplies in janitorial closets and storage areas
- Clean elevators
- Spot clean upholstered furniture and carpets
- Dust open common spaces
